Objective
Responsible for implementing and maintaining IND AS policies and procedures, providing guidance on complex accounting matters, and ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting
Job description
- Techno-commercial proposal writing.
- Site work service provider engagement assistance.
- Site reconnaissance.
- Supervision of sub-surface utility clearance at site prior to soil-groundwater quality monitoring intrusive investigation.
- Supervision of soil-groundwater quality monitoring intrusive investigation.
- Supervision of topographical and top of casing surveys for groundwater flow direction establishment.
- Knowledge of field equipment operation – portable X-Ray Fluorescence equipment, portable photo-ionization detector, portable multi-parameter (pH, EC, TDS, DO and ORP) meter, water level meter (regular and oil-water interface) and on-site and off-site calibration of all equipment.
- Knowledge of soil-groundwater quality analysis result screening w.r.t. Indian guideline/ standard, Dutch remediation circular, and/ or USEPA Preliminary Remediation Goals (PRGs).
- Coordination with internal team (environmental, geological, GIS, etc.) for proposal, work planning including health and safety, site work, and final report writing.
- EDD per International Finance Corporation (IFC) and other standards.
- Final report writing (ESA, EDD, remediation action plan and project execution).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review technical accounting, financial reporting, and auditing memorandums, including analysis of complex accounting matters.
Evaluate and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for complex financial instruments in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with Ind AS and applicable financial reporting requirements.
Supervise, guide, and prepare consolidated and separate financial statements under Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
Develop, review, and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with Ind AS and other applicable financial reporting frameworks.
Assess and advise on the accounting treatment of significant contracts and complex transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, and other critical accounting areas.
Provide technical guidance and clarification on Ind AS matters, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of accounting standards across financial reporting engagements.
