Empowering Communities - Celebrating 30 Years of Re Sustainability Through CSR Initiatives
To celebrate Re Sustainability Limited’s 30th anniversary, the company launched a CSR Week centered on its core values of People, Planet, and Purpose, extending its festivities to the communities it serves. This employeedriven initiative included community clean- up drives, blood donation campaigns, skill-based volunteering, and animal welfare efforts, reflecting a commitment to social impact.
Employees visited orphanages and old age homes, sharing meals and organizing activities for children and the elderly. In Hyderabad, they engaged with children living with HIV and motivated students at local schools, reinforcing the company’s dedication to social renewal.
Environmental stewardship was highlighted through cleanliness drives in public spaces, where employees collaborated with local civic bodies to promote sustainable waste practices. Healthcare access was enhanced via mobile health camps offering free check- ups and a Blood Donation Camp that supported families with chronic health challenges.
The initiative also focused on empowerment through skills, with employees conducting educational sessions in partnership with local NGOs. Charity drives collected essential items, while innovative fundraising efforts fostered a culture of giving.
Additionally, volunteers supported animal welfare by providing supplies and care at the Old Souls Animal Orphanage, emphasizing empathy toward all living beings
Overall, the CSR Week underscored that service to society is an ongoing commitment. Each initiative demonstrated Re Sustainability Limited’s belief that celebrating business milestones through community empowerment is the highest form of success, embodying the spirit that “Celebrating 30 Years of Re Sustainability was not about looking back—it was about reaching out.”
Re Sustainability Singapore also actively engages in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities throughout the year, demonstrating a strong commitment to community and environmental stewardship. We collaborated with Serving People with Disabilities (SPD) to spread joy during Christmas, where 25 volunteers celebrated with 60 elderly staff members through carols, meals, and gifts. Our Beach Clean-Up event at East Coast Park on August 24 brought together over 80 staff and their families to protect our shores. We also partnered with Blossom World Society to transform homes for beneficiaries. It was a day when more than 20 of our team members, led by our CEO Mr. Kin Yong Ang, put aside their daily routines and immersed themselves in handson community service. Together, they picked up paintbrushes and tools to clean, refurbish, and transform homes for families facing challenging circumstances. These initiatives reflect our commitment to uplifting lives and fostering a sense of community.
