Objective
Responsible for implementing and maintaining IND AS policies and procedures, providing guidance on complex accounting matters, and ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting
Competencies: Domain Functional Technical Leadership
Ind AS & Financial Reporting: Strong knowledge of the Ind AS framework, accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Ind AS Compliance & Policy: Expertise in Ind AS compliance, accounting policy development and updates, technical accounting analysis, and implementation of accounting requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Effective stakeholder engagement and communication with finance teams, auditors, management, and other key stakeholders.
F&A Tools & Data Analytics: Proficiency in finance and accounting tools, financial data analysis, interpretation of financial information, and insights-driven decision-making.
Business Acumen & Strategic Orientation: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand business requirements, manage change, solve complex problems, and align financial reporting with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review technical accounting, financial reporting, and auditing memorandums, including analysis of complex accounting matters.
Evaluate and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for complex financial instruments in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with Ind AS and applicable financial reporting requirements.
Supervise, guide, and prepare consolidated and separate financial statements under Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
Develop, review, and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with Ind AS and other applicable financial reporting frameworks.
Assess and advise on the accounting treatment of significant contracts and complex transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, and other critical accounting areas.
Provide technical guidance and clarification on Ind AS matters, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of accounting standards across financial reporting engagements.
Qualification and Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10 years of relevant professional experience in Ind AS, IFRS, financial reporting, technical accounting, and audit.
