Objective
To act as a strategic and operational partner to the Group Head – Business Operations by managing executive priorities, coordinating multi-state stakeholder engagement, supporting business reviews, and ensuring seamless execution of operational and strategic initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Calendar & Workflow Management
- Act as a gatekeeper to the Group Head’s calendar, prioritizing high-impact operational and strategic engagements
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including monthly operational reviews with BU Heads
- Prepare agendas, record detailed MOMs, and track action items to closure
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Business Operations function, screening requests and escalating critical matters
2. Operational & Project Support
- Assist in preparing monthly business reports, operational dashboards, and leadership presentations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, IT, Site Operations) to collect data and align Group-level initiatives
- Manage complex domestic and international travel, including visas and logistics for multi-location site visits
3. Communication & Documentation
- Draft, review, and manage executive correspondence, presentations, and official communications
- Maintain a structured and secure digital repository for confidential operational data, contracts, and board-level documents
- Build and maintain professional relationships with external partners, government bodies, and key stakeholders
4. Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Process, track, and reconcile business and travel expenses in line with company policies
- Support the Group Head on special assignments such as corporate events, summits, and strategic initiatives
5. Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline

MBA is an added advantage

5–8 years of experience supporting senior leadership in large-scale infrastructure, environmental services, manufacturing, or industrial organizations

Exposure to waste management, circular economy, or ESG frameworks is highly desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Expert-level PowerPoint & Excel mandatory)
- Experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle)

Core Requirements
1. Revenue & Business Growth
- Build and manage a high-quality global pipeline across VCM, compliance markets, and I-RECs
- Identify and onboard corporates, traders, and institutional buyers
- Drive consistent revenue through spot trades, forward contracts, and structured off take agreements
2. Carbon Markets Trading & Deal Execution
- Lead the end-to-end deal lifecycle: origination to closure
- Execute transactions across:
- Carbon credits (VCM + compliance markets)
- I-RECs / Energy Attribute Certificates
- Structure complex deals, including:
- Portfolio transactions
- Long-term supply agreements
- Work with leading standards such as Verra and Gold Standard
3. Client Advisory (Strategic Role)
- Advise clients on:
- Net-zero strategies
- Carbon credit procurement
- Risk and pricing strategies
- Engage with CXOs, sustainability heads, and procurement teams
- Translate carbon markets into clear commercial and strategic value
4. Market Intelligence & Regulatory Awareness
Track and apply insights on:
- VCM trends and pricing benchmarks
- Compliance markets and regulatory frameworks
- CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
- CORSIA
- Emerging mechanisms (Article 6, new regional markets)
Provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
5. Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Build strong relationships with:
- Project developers
- Traders and brokers
- Corporate buyers
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage long-term partnerships
6. Internal Leadership
- Mentor junior team members
- Contribute to pricing strategies, sales playbooks, and market positioning
- Work closely with research, legal, and operations teams for execution
